Lauren Costello was born and raised in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. She attended the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina and graduated cum laude with degrees in Biology and Anthropology. She was also named “Scholar of the Year (2011) in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.” She moved to Brooklyn, New York in 2012 where she worked as a Visual Merchandising Manager in Manhattan for seven years. Additionally, she worked as a freelance set dresser on commercials and short films in the NYC area. She stepped away from these commitments during the pandemic and began studying web development. She is currently working as an administrative assistant for a therapist based in Los Angeles while expanding her writing portfolio. Please email lauren@laurencostello.com with all inquiries.
